Wer kann hier gut Englisch.
Hab boombaracing mal angeschrieben, da auf deren Homepage steht, dass es beim ST ab 2015 Unterschiede gibt zu den anderen MK3 STs.
Hier die Antwort:
"On the 2014’s the vacuum hose that you cut into is made from a rubber material. On the 2015’s +, it is made from a tougher corrugated plastic. The real difference is not the material of the hose, it is the size. We have seen three different variances in the diameter of this hose making it impossible for us to know what size adapters to include. One is the same size as the 13-14, one is larger, and the other is smaller. All kits ship with the adapters assuming it is the same size as the 13-14. The can itself will mount in the same place so nothing changes there. There is also a sensor in this line on the 15+, but it doesn’t alter the installation at all.
Below I’ve attached some information from a customer who installed this on their 2015:
“ I had to get a 1/2" to 3/8" reducing coupler brass fitting. It fit snug but since the hose is hard plastic leaked air. Wrapped the coupler in 2-3 wraps of electrical tape and used 1/2" hose clamps. Everything was working smoothly. on the out end. For the inlet hose I used the small fitting sent with the kit. It would not go on the hose no matter what I did. Should have gotten 2 of those brass couplers. I ground off about 1/32-1/16th of material on a belt sander to finally get it to jam on the plastic hose. Used hose clamps on every fitment except the lines into the can itself. Car started, no warnings and sounded normal. I guess it all worked. Also the longer (out) hose had to be trimmed about 3”. "
I’ve also attached two pictures from that customer for reference.
Let me know if you’ve got any other questions!"
Ich verstehe es so, dass es wohl verschiedene Durchmesser bei den 2 Schläuchen gibt.
